Best toasting flutes

Wednesday, May 6th, 2009

A wintertime theme was my idea of the perfect wedding theme, so we got married in January. There are so many beautiful accessories and reception supplies to make the perfect wintery wedding dream come true. If you’re going with any kind of themed ceremony or reception at all, you will find loads of alternatives to pick from when you get around to shopping for gifts, invitations, and other products you’ll need. Our wedding ceremony color scheme was in silver and wintery blue. We also had fake snow and lovely candles at the altar, including our winter themed unity candle. It really was a gorgeous wedding ceremony.
All of the reception tables had red table runners and white tablecloths. In the middle of each reception table sat freshly cut white orchids inside of a glimmering silver vase, and it all went with the wintery ambiance wonderfully. As for our place card holders I found the most lovely snowball ornament card holders for our reception. Not only are they beautiful card holders but they are awesome little ornaments as well. To express our gratitiude for their coming to our special day, we got our relatives and other loved ones champagne bottles favors and matching toasting flutes. If you’re looking for a wonderful way to say thank you, personalized toasting flutes do the trick. All of our tables were magnificently set up and shined with all the glitter and glamour of the winter time. Our three tiered wedding cake sat on a unique little sled designed cake stand and had a topper that was a porcelain snowflake to complete our winter wedding cake. Our cake serving set was also a winter themed accessory I found while shopping online. The handles had little snowflakes done in white and wintry blue colors. Perfect for our themed reception and the handles matched with the winter wedding guestbook and pen I picked out.
For the special champagne toasting flute, we had beautifully designed winter wedding themed flutes with handles that were exactly like the cake server set and guestbook. The coloring scheme was cool blue and white with a few small snowflakes to match everything else on our table. Actually all the tables were exquisite and our guests were very happy with the wedding favors and place card holders they got to take home with them. The mini tiara our flower girl wore was hers to keep, and we got her a necklace besides, which she was very pleased about. We got a ring boy tee shirt and a stainless steel yo-yo for our ring bearer, and he thought that was really neat. For my bridesmaids I chose tank tops with bridesmaid written across in in crystals and for my maid of honor I picked out a maid of honor shirt and a crystal bracelet. The men’s presents were handled by my groom. He bought a best man mug and a neat pen set for the best man, and everyone else received a battery-operated digital clock. I could tell that all of our friends and family were having a fantastic time at the reception and they all seemed to like the little favors and gifts we bought for them.
Everything at our wedding and reception was fantastic and I owe it all to the wonderful selection of accessories and supplies I found online. We also saved a little money by shopping online, with all the discounts and wholesale items they had to choose from. I found supplies for both the wedding and the honeymoon online. We found a shirt and hats that said ‘Bride’ and ‘Groom’ on them, and a pillow to hang outside our door indicating that we did not wish to be bothered. We got plenty of use out of that pillow.

Best wedding invitation keepsake

Wednesday, May 6th, 2009

I decided that the day I got married was going to be a memorable day for everyone that was close to me. That’s why I decided to choose my accessories and gifts with the thought of momentos in mind. The gifts I bought were meant to be reminders of what an outstanding wedding day and night we had together. I began by selecting keepsake gifts and moved on to things like a wedding invitation keepsake. On the web, there are a ton of ideas and options for wedding and reception accessories and supplies. All of the things that I needed for my reception were there
On all of my reception tables were floral centerpieces I had made up at the florist and gorgeous floral scented candles that looked as if they were covered in lace and came with a pretty little ceramic holder. .
I elected to get place card holders with lovely beads on them that doubled as picture frames for everyone to take with them. I made up my mind that the people at my wedding woud get practical favors that, afterwards, would be brilliant gift keepsakes. I just never saw the point to giving out wedding favors that no one can get any use out of. Otherwise, the recipient of the gift will most likely forget about it shortly after they get it. I wanted our friends and family to have something they will hang on to and remember sharing our special day with us every time they use it. The first thing I picked out for everyone was a bistro coffee mug. They attractive and you can get good use out of them, too. I didn’t even have to worry about repackaging them because the containers they came in were so classy-looking already; all I did was put a decorative hang tag on every one of them.
Reception supplies and accessories were easy to find on the world wide web. Our wedding cake topper was really something special. I wanted a cake topper that had some importance to us.
We were playing football together the first time we met, in a friend’s backyard. So our first meeting was in the middle of a memorable tackle attempt on his part and I thought the topper I found with the bride and groom playing football was an excellent choice. When I look at the wedding cake topper, I think of both our wedding day and the day he first tried to tackle me. [spin]I was really surprised that I had found such a novel wedding cake topper as this one was, and not only that, I also found gorgeous wedding

Best wedding guest books

Wednesday, May 6th, 2009

The amount of possibilities can be overwhelming when you’re when putting together a ceremony and reception, but it’s also quite a thrill at the same time. My daughter and I were planning her wedding day together and the hardest part of the whole thing was getting her to make up her mind. She had to select the kind of wedding she wanted to begin with, either one with a specific type of motif, or to go with a more standard type of ceremony. She studied every possible variety that we could think of, and she just ended up getting more and more confused. For her special day, she thought about building the wedding around a lakeshore setting, and then she considered a wedding in an outdoor garden setting. Having a standard wedding ceremony and reception was what my daughter decided, at last, would be the best option for her. When she eventually made that decision, it allowed us to get the preparations underway.
The invites had been delivered, the banquet hall for the reception was booked, and the church was rented out. We focused on the materials we’d need for the reception dinner since her wedding gown and the outfits for the bridesmaids and groomsmen had already been selected. We had to pick out a wedding guest book and a photo album and a few other items that we’d need. A lot of the many wedding guest books we found had gorgeous art work on them. A substantial number of the sign-in books had wedding pens that went with them, and they were just as pretty. Our new bride discovered a six piece wedding set with rhinestones that had bows and satin boxes, both white, as we were nearing the end of our shopping. There was a lovely unity candle, ring pillow, flower basket and wedding garter. These satin items were together with a wedding photo guest book. We were so surprised to find so many beautiful wedding items all in one set for one low price. We found a photo book for the wedding where you could put little mementos and crafts. It really was a beautiful photo album.
At last, we got around to buying wedding favors, a topper for the wedding cake, and place cards holders for the reception. All of the rest of it had been dealt with. Our blushing bride picked out a pair of glazed porcelain doves to use as her cake topper. The pair of doves will make an exquisite figurine that will help her memories of the wedding day last a lifetime. Next we went for the place card holders, and for those my daughter decided to go with little silver picture frames for all of her guests at the reception. She thought it was neat to give the guests something they could actually use after the dinner. After looking at all of the items she selected for her ceremony and reception, I’d say she did a pretty good job of it. The extra cash she was able to hang on to by finding good deals is going to get spent when they go on the honeymoon.
The wedding ceremony was absolutely fantastic and the reception was gorgeously decorated and got a lot of positive comments. My daughter and her new husband looked so wonderful as they danced their first dance as man and wife. The memories of that night were terrific; I danced until my feet got sore, and I don’t regret a second of it. My own baby, now married, may have a baby of her own some day. Well, when that day comes, I know exactly where I’ll go to get the supplies and shower favors for the baby shower I’ll throw. That website has everything you need for just about any occasion you are planning for. It’s definitely my online shopping spot.

Best Boxes For Jewelry!

Wednesday, May 6th, 2009

Getting the products I needed for the ceremony and reception required some thought, but as I turned my attention to getting a present for my bridesmaids, it dawned on me that I had a long ways to go yet. I just couldn’t seem to come across anything that they would really appreciate. A number of favors for reception guests and people who stand up in your wedding are out there on the web. Narrowing it down was the big challenge. I stumbled across some wonderful low-priced thank you items as well. One particular eight-piece set I found saved me a lot of money; it had a pillow for the ring bearer, a basket for the flower girl, a pen and sign-in book for guests, and several other things, all in one. I saved a ton on that. They were a lot cheaper as a set than they would have been if I would have purchased them individually.
I knew my bridesmaids would be thrilled if I got them an elegant jewelry box, and I found just that while I was perusing through the thank you gifts. As I looked, I discovered a variety of high-quality wedding jewelry boxes. Since I was having such a hard time making up my mind on which one I wanted to order, I decided to move on to the rest of my wedding needs and get back to the thank you gifts for my girls later. I had almost everything I needed for the ceremony, but there was a few more things I needed to pick out for my reception. One thing that was on my plate, so to speak, was finding a wedding cake topper, and another was picking out wedding gifts for my friends and relatives, so I paid attention to those two next. Bottle openers made of chrome in the form of birds of peace and salt and pepper shakers that looked like a couple on their wedding day were what I went with. The package that the dove bottle openers came in was so pretty that I just used that and didn’t even get any special boxes. The groomsmen all got a Swiss Army Knife type things from my groom, complete with a file and cork screw.
We got a cake topper of pair of newly weds locked in a loving embrace. The newly weds were my ultimate choice, but I checked out a lot of options, and I nearly settled on one with crystals and initials written in silver. Now, I had everything but the gifts for my girls, so I had to make a final decision. I bought them all a piece of great wedding jewelry, and I put it in girls jewelry boxes. The piece I got each of the bridesmaids was a glittery rhinestone bangle. It may sound like that was a bit extravagant, but it wasn’t. There were a lot of choices of discount wedding jewelry available, which meant I could get them something really nice, and still save money. The pearl wedding jewelry I picked out to wear at my wedding was from the same spot. There are some really exquisite pieces to choose from, and less costly than you may imagine. The girls really loved their thank you gifts and I guess the guys were happy with what my fiance chose for them too.
All my dreams came true on my wedding day; it was absolutely glorious. My groom’s brother caught the garter, and my sister, who’s also not dating anyone, managed to grab the bouquet. Is it just coincidence, or is it fate? If anything came of it and my sister and his brother end up married, that means my sister would also be my sister in law. You never know!

Unique Baby Shower Gifts Ideas!

Sunday, May 3rd, 2009

Baby showers are growing bigger and bigger every year, it seems like there are more and more ideas and themes to choose from when hosting a shower. Baby showers are the most fun to attend because of all the very cute gifts invitees bring. If you are planning to attend a shower and are looking for some super baby shower gift cards, there are a lot of options. If you go online you can find a whole world of thoughts about how to put together a baby shower and really cool presents to bring to them. The day can be everything you want it to be if you get the right supplies and accessories for the party. There are items from place card holders to party gifts.
Is a unique baby shower gift more your style? Something like a kid-themed cartoon photo book or growth chart for the wall, or even a teddy bear night-light would be an excellent choice if they’re looking for something to decorate the newborn’s room. There are bath soaps and other fabolous baby shower gifts, like a diaper cake with pacifiers and itty-bitty toys all around it. It’s possible to work almost any baby item out can think into a snazzy diaper cake. One great thing to do for the woman who’s about to be a mom is to get her some personalized baby shower gifts. One of my favorite gifts for babies is the first tooth and curl containers. These lovely little silver plated boxes make great gifts for the mom to have as keepsakes. There are some that come with a lovely pink lining for girls and blue for boys. That’s something special to hang on to, just like their little footprints and handprints. Smaller gifts are wonderful, even though a lot of guests will want to give something like a crib or a stroller. You can find cheap baby shower gifts that are also very desirable. Some products are always needed by moms with a newborn. It’s pretty common that a number of guests will buy shoes or shirts or some kind of clothing for the infant as opposed to buying a larger, more costly present. No matter what the present is, rest assured that the expectant mother can find a use for it.
The best baby shower gifts are often the ones you utilize every single day, like diapers, a diaper bag, or a baby carrier. The selection of products you can get new moms, that is available on the Internet, is staggering. Don’t forget to give your guests baby shower favors if you’re the hostess. A few memorable baby shower party gifts could include little picture frames or brag books. You can buy everyone little candies as well, say a box with baby designs that has cream-filled chocolates inside. You have a lot of ideas to pick from when you’re getting a gift for your baby shower guests. When you get a bunch of presents that you’re going to use as thank you gifts, you can also keep some of them out to be given away as prizes for winning the baby shower games you play.
Checking on the web will give you all the ideas and choices you could want for baby shower gifts, no matter if you’re attending as a guest or if you’re the one who’s throwing the shower. Not only did I get some awesome baby shower favors on the net, but that’s also where I bought the majority of the things that I needed for my wedding ceremony and reception. It’s easy, convenient and there is just such a fantastic selection of party favors to choose from for almost any occasion you can think of.

Unique candle wedding favors

Sunday, May 3rd, 2009

There are tons of suggestions for great wedding favor gifts for the people invited to your wedding ceremony and party with you at your reception. There are picture frames that can also be used as place card holders, novelty favors for almost every season or theme, and many other super ideas. I wanted to give our friends and family something that was gorgeous, but at the same time, something I knew they would use, so I decided on candle wedding favors. I found just the right wedding favor boxes I wanted to use and I also ordered special hang tags for each.
I added some wedding candle centerpieces to every reception table to add to the ambiance of the wedding. The candles, decorations, and the gorgeous flower arrangements for my centerpieces really looked fantastic together. When I was looking for favors, I found candles for other occasions too, like a delightful candle for wedding for someone that’s throwing a bridal shower, and candle party favors for graduations, birthdays and more. But there’s a lot more that candles and wedding favors at the place I shop at for wedding accessories.
With all the accessories necessary for a nice wedding and reception, I was really lucky to find a nice five piece accessory set, which included my guestbook, wedding pen set, ring pillow and bridal garter and a really gorgeous little flower girl basket. We saved a little money by being able to get so many of our accessories in a set like that at such a low cost. That’s another thing I like about where I got our wedding supplies, the prices are so reasonable, and they even had discount candles wedding favors.
Our wedding cake topper was really spectacular and it didn’t cost near as much as we expected a customized cake topper would cost. They made the wedding couple on our cake topper look exactly like us and it was the talk of the reception. They used head shots of me and my fiance to make the bride and groom figurines. The three tiered chocolate wedding cake we had made was just gorgeous and was decorated with all red and pink flowers surrounding it. The calla lily cake serving set was one that I just absolutely went nuts over and it just looked so delicate lying next to our beautiful cake.
The crystal flutes we got for our friends and family were for them to keep and we ordered special bride and groom flutes for our bridal table. We have no use for 200 champagne glasses, so why not let our friends and family have them as keepsakes? Besides, we were stocked with keepsakes from our wedding and reception, with our wedding guestbook, album, cake topper and more. Our wedding guestbook was in the five piece set we bought and it was a gorgeous claret color, with a place for signatures, gift list and certain keepsakes. I think the guest book is important, not only to have everyones’ name that attended, but for later use when you are filling out thank you notes. It makes your guests appreciate the thank you notes with you remember what they gave you in way of wedding gifts.
I guess most of our guests really like the unique candle wedding favors we chose for their thank you gifts, some of them expressed their appreciation. So, I guess I made the right choice. As we were leaving for our honeymoon, many of the guests wished us well and told us they had a great time at our reception. This was truly one of the most unforgettable days in my life.

Unique new wedding selection

Sunday, May 3rd, 2009

Its been many years since my wedding and I can’t believe how much everything has changed for the better, including the decorations. It’s amazing what is out there and the variety you can choose from. If you want a beach party wedding you can find beach party accessories like beautiful little seashells and starfish, just to name a couple. There were also some pretty clever ideas for garden and other summer and spring weddings and receptions. I saw gorgeous new wedding collections for all seasons. The season that was amazing was the winter season because of all the Christmas colors and decorations you can add to your reception. I actually heard that some brides and grooms have an outside winter wedding. To me having a wedding in the winter outside would be a beautiful site to see and yet a little way out of the norm. If I were planning a wedding it would have to be indoors and not outside in the cold. To me you should plan a wedding in the winter at a resort that has all the amenities to help everybody stay warm.

There were also quite a bit to choose from for autumn weddings too, which is really my favorite time of the year. Autumn is the best season for me and the best time to have a wedding, with it’s colorful background as your main motif. When I was married many years ago the only options you had was a church wedding or a county building to get married. Times have changed so much that you can plan your wedding day to be what you want it to be. There are even long distance weddings, where everybody takes a trip to where the wedding will take place. It seems like a great way to escape for all the friends and family. There are also a great new wedding selection, from everything from traditional to destination weddings that you can buy for your reception.

In a few months my daughter will be married and I offered to help her plan her wedding and she decided to have a country western wedding. I would of never guessed that a country western wedding would be so great until I helped my daughter plan hers. She found cake toppers that have a western theme to them, plus everything she needed for her bridal table, including western champagne flutes. They’re really quite unique looking. She’s set up a country band, barbecue grills and hay bales that will be part of the party decor. There will be lights and lanterns strung throughout the reception, giving it that western look. Also she purchased centerpieces and name card holders that are western style. They’ve arranged to rent a dude ranch for this event, which really surprised me, because, I didn’t know you could even do that. She purchased many wedding and reception embellishments on the internet and they went with the country western style. She ordered delightful new favors for all their friends and family and cowboy hats for the bride and groom.

She has everything all planned out to be more of a huge family cookout, hayride, picnic type of reception. It sounds like it will be a fantastic time for all the guests. I was surprised to hear that they are going to have a barn dance in a good ole country western style. After hearing all this I knew I had to go to the store and get blue jeans, cowboy boots and a cowboy hat so that I could join in the fun and excitement. This is going to be a wedding to remember and will be talked about for years to come. With our anniversary coming up soon, I may take my daughters idea and have a country western renewal ceremony and reception.
