A wintertime theme was my idea of the perfect wedding theme, so we got married in January. There are so many beautiful accessories and reception supplies to make the perfect wintery wedding dream come true. If you’re going with any kind of themed ceremony or reception at all, you will find loads of alternatives to pick from when you get around to shopping for gifts, invitations, and other products you’ll need. Our wedding ceremony color scheme was in silver and wintery blue. We also had fake snow and lovely candles at the altar, including our winter themed unity candle. It really was a gorgeous wedding ceremony.
All of the reception tables had red table runners and white tablecloths. In the middle of each reception table sat freshly cut white orchids inside of a glimmering silver vase, and it all went with the wintery ambiance wonderfully. As for our place card holders I found the most lovely snowball ornament card holders for our reception. Not only are they beautiful card holders but they are awesome little ornaments as well. To express our gratitiude for their coming to our special day, we got our relatives and other loved ones champagne bottles favors and matching toasting flutes. If you’re looking for a wonderful way to say thank you, personalized toasting flutes do the trick. All of our tables were magnificently set up and shined with all the glitter and glamour of the winter time. Our three tiered wedding cake sat on a unique little sled designed cake stand and had a topper that was a porcelain snowflake to complete our winter wedding cake. Our cake serving set was also a winter themed accessory I found while shopping online. The handles had little snowflakes done in white and wintry blue colors. Perfect for our themed reception and the handles matched with the winter wedding guestbook and pen I picked out.
For the special champagne toasting flute, we had beautifully designed winter wedding themed flutes with handles that were exactly like the cake server set and guestbook. The coloring scheme was cool blue and white with a few small snowflakes to match everything else on our table. Actually all the tables were exquisite and our guests were very happy with the wedding favors and place card holders they got to take home with them. The mini tiara our flower girl wore was hers to keep, and we got her a necklace besides, which she was very pleased about. We got a ring boy tee shirt and a stainless steel yo-yo for our ring bearer, and he thought that was really neat. For my bridesmaids I chose tank tops with bridesmaid written across in in crystals and for my maid of honor I picked out a maid of honor shirt and a crystal bracelet. The men’s presents were handled by my groom. He bought a best man mug and a neat pen set for the best man, and everyone else received a battery-operated digital clock. I could tell that all of our friends and family were having a fantastic time at the reception and they all seemed to like the little favors and gifts we bought for them.
Everything at our wedding and reception was fantastic and I owe it all to the wonderful selection of accessories and supplies I found online. We also saved a little money by shopping online, with all the discounts and wholesale items they had to choose from. I found supplies for both the wedding and the honeymoon online. We found a shirt and hats that said ‘Bride’ and ‘Groom’ on them, and a pillow to hang outside our door indicating that we did not wish to be bothered. We got plenty of use out of that pillow.
