Unique jewelry boxes

Monday, May 11th, 2009

Today, we have watch jewelry boxes, earring jewelry boxes, other types of boxes for jewelry, but years ago, pretty much everything was put into a great standard jewelry boxes. The boxes can be designed in a wide variety of ways. For her wedding day, my daughter got her bridesmaids jewelry boxes, and one for herself as well. That was just the beginning of what I discovered while surfing the web for gift ideas. No matter what look your going for at your wedding, a specific theme or a more customary look, you’ll find loads of suggestions there. The décor my daughter and her groom went with had a fairy tale look and feel to it. She really did look like Cinderella at the ball in her lovely wedding gown and long veil, and I must admit my son in law looked just as good as Prince Charming in his stunning tux. It was a picturesque wedding. A horse drawn carriage with a driver in classical attire swept the two of them away from the church after the ceremony was over.
At the reception, tulle with tiny white lights was draped in a circle and there were elegant flower vases placed everywhere around the room. The tables at the reception had silvery sparkles and wonderful flower arrangements, and the bride and groom table sat in front of an arrangement of red and white roses with ivy strung along an arch. The reception tables twinkled even more with the silver tea light dove place card holders she selected. The small jewelry boxes each woman at the wedding got as a favor had crystals and flowers beautifully interwoven in their design. For the men in attendance, a key chain with a frog prince on it was given to them as a wedding favor. The affordable jewelry boxes for the bridesmaids had black velvet-lined interiors and were made of wood and sliver-plated. Each box had the name and of the bride and groom and the wedding date etched in them. The girls seemed to really like the thank you gift that my daughter picked out. It was a box like I used to have, I had no idea it was a discount jewelry box, it was so expensive looking. The guys all got wine gifts sets with their names engraved on a small plaque. I thought that was pretty unique for a thank you gift.
Her wedding cake topper was a really unique little dream castle that really showed off the lovliness of their three tiered wedding cake. The cake knife set and champagne glasses meshed perfectly together with the cake. The amount of money she saved was staggering considering that she didn’t skimp on quality. We offered to pay for the wedding, since we are the brides parents, but they both insisted they could do it themselves.
I cried as I watched them dance their first dance as husband and wife, it looked as if they were the only ones in the room. It reminded me so much of the ball the prince had in the Cinderella story. We had a fantastic time at the reception and the garter toss was unbelievably funny, with all the guys pushing and shoving each other out of the way so they could be the one to catch Cinderellas garter. My daughter’s wedding day was as magical as she imagined it would be, and the whole thing was so special. They are off on their honeymoon, and I’m certain that it will be every bit as fantastic as the wedding. She promised to tell me all about the great places they went to while on their honeymoon, as soon as she gets home.

Best Boxes For Jewelry!

Getting the products I needed for the ceremony and reception required some thought, but as I turned my attention to getting a present for my bridesmaids, it dawned on me that I had a long ways to go yet. I just couldn’t seem to come across anything that they would really appreciate. A number of favors for reception guests and people who stand up in your wedding are out there on the web. Narrowing it down was the big challenge. I stumbled across some wonderful low-priced thank you items as well. One particular eight-piece set I found saved me a lot of money; it had a pillow for the ring bearer, a basket for the flower girl, a pen and sign-in book for guests, and several other things, all in one. I saved a ton on that. They were a lot cheaper as a set than they would have been if I would have purchased them individually.
I knew my bridesmaids would be thrilled if I got them an elegant jewelry box, and I found just that while I was perusing through the thank you gifts. As I looked, I discovered a variety of high-quality wedding jewelry boxes. Since I was having such a hard time making up my mind on which one I wanted to order, I decided to move on to the rest of my wedding needs and get back to the thank you gifts for my girls later. I had almost everything I needed for the ceremony, but there was a few more things I needed to pick out for my reception. One thing that was on my plate, so to speak, was finding a wedding cake topper, and another was picking out wedding gifts for my friends and relatives, so I paid attention to those two next. Bottle openers made of chrome in the form of birds of peace and salt and pepper shakers that looked like a couple on their wedding day were what I went with. The package that the dove bottle openers came in was so pretty that I just used that and didn’t even get any special boxes. The groomsmen all got a Swiss Army Knife type things from my groom, complete with a file and cork screw.
We got a cake topper of pair of newly weds locked in a loving embrace. The newly weds were my ultimate choice, but I checked out a lot of options, and I nearly settled on one with crystals and initials written in silver. Now, I had everything but the gifts for my girls, so I had to make a final decision. I bought them all a piece of great wedding jewelry, and I put it in girls jewelry boxes. The piece I got each of the bridesmaids was a glittery rhinestone bangle. It may sound like that was a bit extravagant, but it wasn’t. There were a lot of choices of discount wedding jewelry available, which meant I could get them something really nice, and still save money. The pearl wedding jewelry I picked out to wear at my wedding was from the same spot. There are some really exquisite pieces to choose from, and less costly than you may imagine. The girls really loved their thank you gifts and I guess the guys were happy with what my fiance chose for them too.
All my dreams came true on my wedding day; it was absolutely glorious. My groom’s brother caught the garter, and my sister, who’s also not dating anyone, managed to grab the bouquet. Is it just coincidence, or is it fate? If anything came of it and my sister and his brother end up married, that means my sister would also be my sister in law. You never know!
