I never expected that such a thing as a wedding cake topper could be contentious, but once I got engaged I found that it was something that (like everything else wedding related) everybody had to weigh in on. I’m a little bit of a minimalist and find a lot of wedding cake toppers a little tacky, which is hard to tell your future mother in law when she is offering you some musty dolls. For my wedding I made the cake, which I thought would give me a little control over the matter; I did’t think that there is anything wrong with just plain icing. I made a set of white marzipan roses to go one top and they made it safely to where we were having the reception. Back when we were doing the flowers, the florist had asked me if there was anything needed for the cake, I had said I didn’t think so, but we agreed that she’s have a few flowers to put on top in case something went wrong with my decorations. I was a little annoyed when I got to the reception and found that the real flowers were put on top of my marzipan ones. Then when we went to cut the cake, my father had put on a bride and groom of playmobile set. It did make it a little hard to cut the first piece with three sets of wedding toppers on it. My advice is, pick out something simple (and easy to cut around,) but in the end no matter what you go with, the cake will still taste great and you’ll still have happy memories.

Looking through all the wedding accessories and reception supplies they have online, I was having such a hard time figuring out what type of wedding I wanted to have. They had beautiful italian wedding favors, fairy tale favors, winter wonderland favors and all types of themed thank you gifts for the wedding guests, as well as everyone in the wedding party. I loved the Italian designs, but I was just as taken with the storybook accessories. Maybe we could have a gorgeous winter wedding, but then we’d have to postpone the wedding about four months. That’s not going to work. Maybe one of their lovely spring weddings or a fantastic beach themed wedding. There are lots of super accessories and party supplies for that too. Maybe I should just sleep on it, and possibly, I’ll be able to make a decision in the morning. Let’s hope.

Can you believe I actually found wedding garters for a military wedding? They were pink and gold and they also had a camouflage guest book and pen set, as well as a ring pillow that matched. It was all very awesome looking. Just as awesome and impressive as a military wedding. All those guys in their dress blues looked very handsome, but of course, none of them were as handsome or sexy as my brand new husband. I was really surprised at all they offered for a military wedding and reception. I thought I’d have a harder time finding what I needed, than this. But I was wrong. I also found a cake topper with a military theme. Shopping online really pays off. I’ll have to do it more often.

Katrina’s husband will be celebrating his 45th birthday next week so he has decided to make him very happy and make that day very memorable for him. And since his husband’s favorite sport is football and his having his own team so she has decided to give him his favorite NFL team apparel and uniform as her birthday gift to him. But after a whole day of looking for it on different malls and shops it’s sad to say that she wasn’t able to look for it.

Every time I think about am area rug, I think of a place to sweep the dirt for a few days, but they can do so much more then that. Area rugs are wonderful places for dust mites, pet dander, and dust to hide at. As a kid, the area rugs were always the best, but as I got older I realized how nasty and infested area rugs can get. Fleas, ticks, and infectious dust bunnies love area rugs just like we love our homes and like to put decorative little area rugs in. Yes, area rugs are pretty, unique and some times down right odd but we need to remember to keep our pretty little area rugs clean. If someone if the world tested for the statistics of how many people get sick or ill from the dander and dangers in an area rug, we all would be shocked to actually see the dirty truth that all of our area rugs are keeping.
