After a long search for the perfect wedding album and wedding guest book I had just about given up. I got so tired of going store to store that I almost decided to tell my fiance, I’d rather elope. One of the girls at work told me to give the internet a try. So I decided to take a look online. And you’ll never guess. There it was, my themed wedding guest book, plus a lot of other wedding accessories I could use for my themed ceremony and reception.
The guestbook was so beautiful and perfect for a fairy tale wedding. There was even a beautiful pen and holder that went with our theme too. I looked at several great fairy tale suggestions online, and I also found the type of wedding album I wanted. I was really surprised at all the decoration ideas and the accessories they carried. I found items for my flower girl, ring boy and bridesmaids, and my fiance found the perfect groomsmen gifts for the guys and his best man.
I’m so glad I didn’t have to go store to store looking for these accessories. Naturally, we went to the caterers for our food, the bakery for our cake and found a photographer and entertainment. We also had to shop for our wedding attire, but most of what I bought for our ceremony and reception, I bought online. Our accessories weren’t as expensive as you may think, especially our wedding guestbook items. In fact, a lot of our wedding accessories, and decorations, we got at a discount. That really helps on the wedding budget for two people just starting out.
I spent a lot of time going over all the fantastic wedding favor ideas they had for my reception. I wanted only the best wedding favors for our guests, after all these are our friends and family. My fiance picked out the favors for the guys and I took care of the gifts for the women. We thought that would work out best. I bought wedding carriage candles for our female guests that would add to the ambiance of any storybook reception. For the men at the reception, my fiance decided on keeping it manly and got everyone special shot glasses as thank you gifts.
I forgot to mention that when I ordered our wedding guest book and pen, I also ordered an extra. I got one for our wedding ceremony and the other were wedding guestbooks. I wanted to look back on our reception and remember the guests that were able to hang around to celebrate with us. And what a fantastic time we had. We must have danced and partied half the night. With scrapbooking pages and a place for all the little keepsakes I wanted to hang onto, this wedding album I bought could hold all the memories of that day and more. It held a lot of little souvenirs of our wedding, like an invitation, wedding napkin and other memorabilia.
The time came for us to leave for the airport and we had to leave our friends and family to start on our honeymoon. Everyone said their congratulations and best wishes and complimented us on the wonderful reception as we were walking out the door. I hope all of our guests had a much fun as we did.
I had no idea where he was taking me for our honeymoon until we arrived. I was blown away when we pulled up to the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando for seven fantastic days. He thought a fairytale wedding deserved a fairytale honeymoon. I could hardly wait to get all the pictures developed and into my special album I bought just for our honeymoon photos.
